Modalities

Drawing on an integrated approach to healing and experience across different modalities, Caroline offers different healing modalities as individual services or in tandem. During an intake period, Caroline takes time to understand the needs of her clients on an emotional, physical and spiritual level.  It is common for her to combine facets of different healing techniques during a session or for follow-up self care.

Energy Kinesiology

Energy Kinesiology is a bioenergetic model that uses muscle testing as a biofeedback tool to access blocked emotions and connected physiological imbalances. Using gentle muscle testing, Caroline works with her clients to articulate what their bodies are communicating around important life and wellness issues that surface throughout the session. Kinesiology has a significant impact on a wide range of health and well-being issues including addressing pain and other structural issues, healing from injury or surgery, emotional/mental stress, overcoming trauma and  identifying potential nutritional sensitivity, deficiency or excess.

Jin Shin Jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) is a Japanese form of acupuncture without needles. JSJ is an art that facilitates our profound capacity to heal by correcting the energy pathways where stagnation in emotional or physical issues can disrupt and eventually block the energy flow.  Caroline begins her sessions with a body analysis by listening to the body's pulses with her fingers to hear stressed energy patterns. Using a gentle touch, she then places her hands over clothing at key areas located along energy pathways. Accessing these energy blocks brings balance to body, mind and spirit.

Pilates Mat

For Caroline, there is joy in movement, and she uses Pilates as a tool for people recovering from injury, sedentary lifestyle, or naturally aging to rekindle the natural vibrance in bodily awareness. Caroline works one on one or in small groups with clients interested in a range of needs from increasing core strength, balance and flexibility to recovering from injury, illness or a surgery. Pilates is a safe, anatomically focused practice that reinforces alignment and the holistic strengthening of major and underused muscle groups. Caroline considers Pilates as a natural complement to other modalities by using aspects of physical strengthening and breathwork to support healing on an emotional level.
